「スター・ウォーズ エピソード3／シスの復讐」オリジナル・サウンドトラック盤が米国5月3日付に発売開始となりました。スター・ウォーズ・サーガを締めくくるサントラにふさわしい、ファン必見の豪華特典DVD「スター・ウォーズ ア・ミュージカル・ジャーニー」付きの2枚組です。
「スター・ウォーズ ア・ミュージカル・ジャーニー」はエピソード1〜6までの音と映像で構成され、16曲70分にも及び、全曲最新リマスター＆5.1チャンネル・リミックスによる豪華特典DVDとなっています。曲の案内役を務めるのはパルパティーン最高議長役のイアン･マクダーミド。16曲中にはスター・ウォーズ エピソード3／シスの復讐ミュージックビデオ：A Hero Falls（5月1日トピックス参照）も収録されています。
米国盤サントラに付属する特典DVDはリージョン・フリーの為、国内DVDプレイヤーでの再生は可能です。通常再生の他、イアン･マクダーミドの解説イントロスキップ再生やエピソード3／シスの復讐ビデオゲームの予告編も収録されています。
